The most important biennial fair of the municipal sector, Municipalia, is coming back to Lleida, and with it, the opportunity to discover the most avant-garde solutions for the management of cities and the environment. This year, a number of leading companies, including URD Group, are set to unveil products and technologies that promise to transform the way cities are managed.
Municipalia, which will be held from October 17 to 19 in Lleida, is known for being an essential meeting point for municipalities seeking innovative and efficient solutions for municipal management. Citisend, will showcase its electronic access control product, as well as its PaP collection management system distributed by Komtainer and the optimization of services by implementing IT in a Simpliciti distribution. The intelligent solar compacting garbage can, Smafybin, is another highlight at the fair. With the capacity to manage the same waste as up to 40 conventional waste garbage cans and reduce the amount of resources required by up to 75%, Smafybin is positioned as an eco-friendly solution for urban waste management.
Urban Refuse Development brings more than 15 years of experience in pneumatic waste collection solutions, currently serving more than 500,000 users and handling more than 450 tons of waste per day. This innovative approach not only improves the urban image, but also optimizes source separation and reduces costs per tonne collected.
